Hi, and welcome to Hilltop Happenings! I’m so excited to be able to share with you all stories from my beautiful hilltop here in Zambia.

My goal and purpose for this blog is twofold. Firstly, my desire is to encourage you with stories of God’s faithfulness. As a missionary wife living in a third world country, I am privileged to see the hand of God in every day circumstances and in life changing ways. Yet because I’m “way over here”, I seldom get to share these stories. I want these testimonies to be documented for God’s glory.

Secondly, my hope for this blog is to help you pray for us more specifically. Living here does have its challenges, especially for someone who was raised in another country with different culture and expectations. There are inconveniences, dangers and concerns. There are spiritual battles being fought. We need your prayers! And while you don’t have to know specifics to pray for us effectively, wouldn’t it be easier to pray if you did?  🙂
